Chiropractic Adjustments

The treatment that a chiropractor provides is called a Chiropractic Adjustment.  The purpose of the adjustment is to restore proper movement to vertebrae that are misaligned.  When a vertebra moves out of its proper position, becomes locked or fixed in that misaligned position and irritates a spinal nerve that exits between two vertebrae, this is called a subluxation.  There are many different methods of chiropractic adjustments.  Dr. Schwartz evaluates every patient, diagnoses the problem and analyzes the spine to determine the best type of chiropractic adjustment to use on that patient's spine.  When he painlessly moves the bones back into their proper positions, he restores normal function of the vertebrae as well as the nerves, discs and joints.  Subluxations affect the nerves, discs and joints and they need to be normalized.  If your symptoms are caused by problems with these structures, than his adjustments can most likely help you.

First, you need to be evaluated to determine if Dr. Schwartz can help you.  Make an appointment right now by clicking on appointment request or calling 845-354-7621.  We look forward to hearing from you.
